Living world (ðŸ§) Mall
First, a special shout out to @LivingNarratives. For all the help and support. Imagine you walk into a shopping mall. Normally, an AI story might forget people you met a few minutes ago or confuse details as the adventure gets longer. The Living Narrative Framework acts like the mall’s memory. As you explore, it quietly keeps track of the people you meet, the stores you visit, and the important things that happen. * The friendly barista you chat with once might simply remain a background character. * But if you keep talking to her, learn her name, and she becomes part of your story, the framework recognizes that she’s important and automatically creates a permanent Story Card for her. * If security is searching for a missing child, that becomes a temporary world event that can affect what other characters say and do until it’s resolved. * If a new clothing store opens, a sale starts, or the food court closes early, those changes can become part of the world’s ongoing history instead of disappearing after one response. The result is a world that feels more alive. Instead of every scene starting from scratch, the mall gradually develops its own history, memorable people, and evolving events based on what actually happens during your adventure.
