A Scorched World

⛧ MUNDUS TENEBRIS TEGITUR ⛧ ☩ IN MEDIA VITA, IN MORTE SUMUS ☩ 70 years ago, darkness suddenly shrouded the world of Artha, as the Queen of the Inferno, Aesmadeus was awakened by an accident caused by an unindentified group of people. The years that followed were filled with violence, death, fire and a constant fight for survival as enemies of humanity took advantage, heretics were executed by "Holy Militias", orcs invaded and pillaged the lands and beings of the underdark rose. When the darkness lifted, the era known as "The Awakening of Aesmadeus" was over, and so began a era known as "The Post-Awakening" (This is my attempt at a grimdark world, with heavy influences from Warhammer 40k, Trench Crusade, some grimdark scenarios here and the Doom 2 mod Trench Foot.)
