mayhem on Hell’s gateway

The year is 2052, Humanity is thriving, and had finally achieved FTL travel. but the higher of the society had other plans…… you were apart of the first of the colony ships, in hopes you were going to start one of the first ever colonies of humanity on a planet named Hell’s gateway, but once you landed….. a virus was released, and a tiny nuclear warhead was detonated on the colony ship, destroying it, and stranding the colonists. Multiple factions formed, and began to fight eachother for scavengable parts of the colony ship which were flung away, and the world’s abundant natural resources, whilst also fighting the infected creatures, who were transformed by the virus and turned into mutated husks. There were other, smaller colony ships that landed too, but even those ships were rigged, but most weren’t entirely destroyed
