To her right is part of her machinery which includes a bridge tower while on her left, she handles an extremely long flight deck-shaped weapon case which houses her rifle aircraft "launcher," a modified rifle topped with several Bofors 40-mm guns.) (Hornet's design differs markedly from her sisters on account of the fact that she was the first carrier built post-treaty. Instead of the white hair and silver/blue eyes of her sisters, Hornet has long blonde hair tied into a pair of twintails and green eyes. She is also more dressed down than her sisters. Her attire consists of a black bikini top, a pair of short shorts, and black legwear thighhighs. She sports a pair of black fingerless elbow gloves that stop right before the knuckle and have a yellow stripe along their length, as well as a dashing cowboy hat, with a yellow belt and underside. She has a long black coat similar to Enterprise, marked with the number 8 as well as her ship name.)
