Iron Meridian
Twenty scenarios. Four factions. One dying galaxy. The Meridian corridors are failing, and every power in the galaxy is scrambling to survive. Pilot towering Frames for the Hegemony's iron-fisted military. Fight as Sunderance militia defending your home with machines held together by welding wire and stubbornness. Or become something no one expected, a living weapon of the alien Communion, experiencing war through biology instead of metal. Every path is different. Every choice has weight. Nobody is safe. ————————————————————————— Hegemony of Sol Frame Pilot Cinder Company → frontline assault, first deployment Ghost Lancers → recon unit deep behind enemy lines Void Hammers → siege company cracking a space station Intelligence Officer Operation Turncoat → turning a defector in a war zone Project Communion → studying alien biomass that studies you back Deserter Conscience → fled after witnessing an atrocity Opportunity → stole a prototype super-mech for profit ————————————————————————— The Sunderance Militia Pilot Holding Veridia → colony defense against overwhelming force Raid and Run → convoy heists under brutal time pressure Mercenary The Crucible → arena combat in a lawless orbital station Highest Bidder → contract work for whoever is paying Salvager Ruin Diver → exploring a Meridian relay that isn't dead Battlefield Scavenger → stripping downed Frames for parts ————————————————————————— The Communion War-Form Vanguard Chitin → first-wave alien assault organism Siege Organism → unstoppable biological fortress-breaker Scout-Form Void-Swimmer → living spacecraft navigating ancient corridors Mimic → shapeshifting infiltrator inside a human station Emergent → the first self-aware mind in the hivemind ————————————————————————— Unaligned Archaeologist The Buried Frame → a machine older than the Meridian itself The Living Relay → a station that was never supposed to talk back Warlord Pirate King → ruling the lawless Drift until the navy arrives Colony Tyrant → one Frame, absolute power, alien siege ————————————————————————— This scenario was created entirely by a team of AI coding agents that I'm implementing as part of my hobby research into orchestration. Every plot component was written by my agents working from a creative brief I gave them. I didn't write any of the in-scenario content myself. I wanted to see if AI could build something worth playing alongside the human-authored scenarios on this platform, and I think the results speak for themselves~ ————————————————————————— When sending batched queries (array of operations), AID returns a flat response that includes the results for ALL operations. However, individual queries with `[q(shortId)]` (array of 1) always work reliably. Sending many queries in a single batch may hit a 413 (Request Entity Too Large) error. `UpdateOption` mutation sets ALL plot components in one call. `SaveQueueStoryCard` mutation (one per card) creates story cards via upsert. ShortIds queried from the tree can go stale if the scenario structure is modified between sessions. Always re-query the tree (`GetScenario` with nested `options`) before performing batch API operations. During construction, an old shortId map caused "Scenario not found" errors for 2 leaves (Ruin Diver and Battlefield Scavenger) until the tree was re-queried. Total build time: ~3 hours across sessions before the breakthrough API approach was resolved. ————————————————————————— If you appreciate my projects, then please consider following my profile.
