Niatonas: Endless Black

You are in the very small town of Niatonas, located in the southeast of the United States. Your team, the Landstalkers, have won the World Series in baseball, and thus, your entire small town celebrated. However, an unknown person had slipped on in, and poisoned all the drinks in a systematic approach, and 98% of your town's population had been killed in the process. To clean out the rest of the town, the unknown person had also hired mercenaries, masked soldiers by the names of the Nightshooters, who killed the rest of the population, or so they thought. They had found out that one or a few are still around, hiding somewhere, and thus, they put Niatonas on lockdown. Will you find the culprit, or will you just simply make it out alive in a town filled to the brim with masked mercenaries? 7/15/25 - lessened the difficulty of the scenario, not making it impossible to escape!
