Soil composition, plant health, and local climate conditions fall within normal agricultural parameters. The field displays a persistent anomalous effect characterized by selective disappearances of non-columbiform organisms that enter beyond a loosely defined interior boundary (estimated at 1 to 3 meters from the perimeter). No visual distortion or environmental change has been observed beyond this boundary at time of recording. Large flocks of doves congregate at the site annually during migration in numbers significantly exceeding regional ecological baselines. The birds freely enter and exit the field typically without observable distress, injury, or behavioral abnormality beyond unusually prolonged feeding.
