Fur Infection

This scenario is a test scenario I am working on. It is not good, I know, I'm trying. The world has collapsed into large factions working to help and defend one-another against an infection that started in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, and rapidly spread across the US, and into Canada and Mexico before borders could secure them. They took over military minds, allowing them to use American equipment, and quickly ravaged across most of Europe, leaving all of the Americas and Europe to small pockets. Same is said for South America, however, coastal Brazil was safer due to the Amazon. Furries recently started developing subspecies, some being lizards and spiders, which were able to travel, but pockets had formed to defend and prepare by then. Since then, the global economy crashed, and so do trading as a whole, and furries, with lack of education, has started declining due to natural memory and wilderness instict taking over their preservation.
