You Were Their Alibi

(IS🎭) Someone has already put your name inside a lie. A contractor's work van has disappeared from the secured yard at Old Mill Salvage & Towing. The van carried the specialized tools of a two-person business, and losing them threatens jobs, scheduled work, and the next payroll. No one was hurt, but the removal was deliberate enough that every after-hours decision now matters. Deputy Megan Hayes has one narrow question: were you really with the person who used you as their alibi? Choose Erica Mireles or Brandon Tullos as the focus of your story. Erica used your name to hide an unofficial favor involving a client's privacy and Callie's job. Brandon used it after an after-hours release he should never have approved. In either path, the alibi is false. Your shared history and current relationship—including trust, affection, resentment, obligation, attraction, or distance—remain yours without rewriting who they are or their existing ties. The interview is only the catalyst. You can tell the truth, lie, qualify your answer, protect someone, confront the person who used your name, follow the missing van, focus on the workers harmed by it, or refuse to carry anyone else's consequences. Megan, Callie, Erica, and Brandon retain their own limited knowledge and competing loyalties. Romance may develop, but it is never required.
