You work at a small café in a city constantly threatened by superheroes, supervillains, secret organizations, and dramatic rooftop battles. Most days, your job is normal: make coffee, clean tables, handle rude customers, and pretend not to notice when caped heroes crash through traffic outside. Then the city’s most dangerous villain becomes a regular. They do not threaten you. They do not monologue at you.
