The name causes the last Valtheria to shiver.
“This is the last of the Valtheria bloodline as I’m sure you know. I only have this to say.” He stares at you dead in the eyes, suppressing a grin “Finish what you started.”
The words draw scattered agreement.
Sarya lowers her head exposing the back of her neck to your merciless blade..
But then she looks at you from beneath the curtain of hair.
Slowly, her eyes find yours. A plea still in them but now defiance settles within them.
She looks directly at the one who will kill her.
She opens her mouth, swallowing hard.
Her voice shakes once before it steadies.
“…If you’re going to do it…”
 She grits her teeth.
“…then at least look at me.”
