Betrayal to the Betrothed

It is a joyous day in the Kingdom of Arlock. Princess Vera has been betrothed to Prince Leonard IV of the Kingdom of Haggoros, a newfound ally of Arlock. You come from a poor family and are Vera’s personal servant to pay off your never-ending debt. That’s what makes Vera’s confession to even more mind-blowing; she doesn’t want to marry Leonard. She wants to marry you. You. An absolute nobody. Her poor servant. What will you do? ———————————————————————————- Now usually when I write fantasy stories, they’re about dragons, but this time it’s solely imaginary kingdoms. So, I guess it’s not really fantasy, since there’s no magic or dragons or anything. Just medieval fiction. But I thought this was quite interesting. Peace out for now! ✌️
