Miles outside your hometown, a rustle in the back seat shatters the silence—and you find Jocelyn wedged between your boxes, clutching a duffel bag like this was always the plan. She says she’s coming to Boston. No plan. No apartment. Just you. The road stretches ahead, long and uncertain. Turning back would be easy. Driving forward changes everything. ~ Thanks to ChiefTaco for inspiring the idea behind this story. It’s not exact, but I drew a lot of inspiration from what he shared with me last month.
