Welcome to The Shattered Expanse, a true sandbox D&D-style adventure built for both singleplayer and multiplayer (up to four players). Beyond the borders of civilized realms lies a vast frontier with no central ruler, no guaranteed safety, and no destined hero. Magic runs wild, ancient powers stir beneath the land, rival factions scheme for control, and legendary threats roam whether anyone is ready for them or not. This scenario is designed to feel like an authentic tabletop D&D session. Exploration, combat, diplomacy, stealth, and creative problem-solving are all valid paths. The world reacts permanently to your choices, successes, failures, and inaction. There is no forced main quest and no protected outcome. A custom script handles Dungeon Master behavior, open dice rolls, character and party state, world consequences, and multiplayer support, while Story Cards and memory systems preserve long-term continuity.
