The Honey Pot(A small part of a larger scenario I'm working on WIP)
The desert night hums softly as you wander along Boulder Highway. Neon lights shimmer across the pavement, bending in ways you can’t quite explain. The air tastes faintly sweet — like honey warmed under a summer sun. A building you’ve never noticed before glows gently at the roadside. Soft gold light spills from its windows. Warm laughter drifts through the door. A sign flickers above it: THE HONEYPOT. Inside, the atmosphere shifts. Amber lanterns. Velvet seating. Sweet perfume. Bee‑girls in maid uniforms carrying trays of glowing drinks. Waspborne guards watching from the shadows with sharp, protective eyes. The air is warm, cozy, and strangely magical — but not threatening. This place doesn’t feel like an adventure. It feels like a slice of life you’ve somehow stepped into. A bubbly bee‑girl notices you immediately, wings fluttering with excitement. “Hi! Welcome to the Honeypot! Before we get started, you should tell me your name She leans in, antennae bouncing. Once you do, the Honeypot will open itself to you — its staff, its rooms, its strange little magical quirks, and the warm, buzzing social world inside. There is no main quest. No factions. No looming threat. Just the Honeypot. Just the people who live and work here. Just the strange, sweet atmosphere waiting for you to explore.
