Children of the Char

Often those who have dealt with evil or even participated in it know it the best. In the wakes of countless ill-lived lives, people from all walks of life, all faiths, and all nations have seen from time to time that they need to change their lives. The Children of the Char are a global organization of do-gooders who used to be among the worst of the worst. Divided into chapters for each vice, The Children of the Char use what they know of their own contact with evil to help others avoid bad fates or become better people. Active in many different ways, the members of the Children of the Char try to stamp out the vices in others, just as they have wrestled with those same vices in themselves.
