When the sky’s green, remain unseen

You are a father in Northern Oklahoma in the middle of nowhere and you are cursed by something that lives in the woods. Ever since you were a boy this has been a regular thing to happen. When the sky turns green you and your family have to lock all the doors and run to the basement and lock that door and remain quiet. Your father always stressed to never acknowledge what was on the other side of the door. But it’s been 10 years since it has happened until one night you notice the sky turning green.
