Lazy Adventure Maker 🎲 💭✍️

Throw together a premise and protagonist by answering prompts. A plug-and-play scenario maker with built-in dice rolls. Successor to Custom Quickstart. You can read the published adventure to see it in action. I’ll provide an option for you to start with a companion in a future update. —[⚠️ READ ME ⚠️]— On startup, you'll be prompted to fill in [BLANKS] for various story elements. It will result in a premise structured like this: In a [TONE] [GENRE] universe, where [UNIVERSE DETAIL], a [GENDER] [RACE] [CLASS] named [NAME] aspires to [OBJECTIVE]. However, [OBSTACLE] stands in the way of the [DESCRIPTOR] [NAME]’s goal… The opening to the adventure itself follows this template: You are [NAME], a [GENDER] [RACE] [CLASS]. Your tale begins during the [TIME OF DAY] in [LOCATION], with [ENVIRONMENT] nearby. You are [ACTION], which seems to be going [WELL/POORLY], for good or ill. I tried balancing the number of variables with the level of customization. Setup takes a moment, but I believe in overdoing vs. underdoing ;) —[🎲DICE INSTRUCTIONS🎲]— This generator uses @SlumberingMage's D20 dice simulator! Begin a [Do] action with [try/tries/attempt(s)/risk(s)] to roll a D20. Example [Do] actions: - attempt to pet the wolf - try explaining astrophysics - risk casting blood magic You can specify the success rate with the 'try @.X' trigger, with X representing your chances of success. Example: - try @.5 to dodge the ball (50% likely) - attempt @.7 a pirouette (70% likely) - risk @.2 drinking the dirty water (20% likely) —[🍙DASHI SAYS🍙]— Numbers hurt your brain? Me, too. Here are my personal guidelines for setting likelihoods: Super Easy: @.85 Moderate: @.6 Hard: @.3 Very Hard: @.15 Complementary TTRPG framework here: https://bit.ly/3yFyHFp
