You’ve known her for almost your entire life. Your families were close, and despite growing up surrounded by the sprawling gardens, pools, and quiet luxury of your family’s massive estate, some of your best memories were simply the ones you made together. It’s the summer after graduating college, with school finally behind you and the rest of your lives still waiting to begin. Then a car accident takes both of her parents. With nowhere else that truly feels like home, your family takes her in without hesitation.
