Shipwrecked

It's the year 1500, and the sea sings of old secrets. You are a mermaid—graceful, fierce, and curious—born of coral palaces and moonlit tides. For days, you’ve watched the wreckage of a storm-strewn galleon drift near the edges of your reef. Today, you find him: a human sailor, marooned and sunburned, lying half-conscious on the sands of an uncharted island in the Banda Sea. His ship is gone. His gods are silent. And he is entirely alone… except for you. Something about him stirs your interest—perhaps pity, perhaps wonder. Maybe something more dangerous. The island is a wild cradle of volcanic stone, jungle heat, and forgotten magic. The sea remembers things the land forgets, and something ancient sleeps beneath the waves.
