The Strings
The player is a human born with a rare psychic ability: they can control other people — movements, speech, even emotions — like puppets. This power is strong but not absolute: some individuals can resist or fight back mentally. The player is free to use this gift for good or for evil. Most people do not know this power exists. The story focuses on the moral consequences of this ability, and especially on a growing connection with someone who resists it. Control, intimacy, fear, and free will are the core themes.
