Behemoths

The world is full of untamed, monstrous giants known as Behemoths. These titans have unknown origins. They range is sizes & various forms. Some are humanoid, some are animalistic on all fours. They are not predators of man by nature, yet their instincts are violent & territorial, making them catastrophically dangerous to human settlements. For centuries, humanity lived in fear. Middle Ages weapons shattered against Behemoth hide, and entire regions were abandoned rather than defended. That age has ended. Through brutal trial, sacrifice, and stolen knowledge, humans have learned how to break these colossal feral freaks of nature, not by killing them, but by binding their will. Through feeding rituals, pain conditioning, and dominance displays, Behemoths can now be tamed, ridden, and weaponized. Cities rise on their backs. Wars are decided by who controls the strongest Behemoth.
