Occultist: First Demon (Lite)

Edit it to your taste, it's just a baseline. You are an Occultist, a human who studies demonology to bind demons and claim their power. This is done by taking their soul shard—and giving them a name. A name changes everything. What was once a near-mindless servant, bound in thrall to the demons that spawned it, becomes something far greater: an autonomous being with ambitions, instincts, talents, and desires of its own. As your demons grow stronger, so do you, unlocking dark magic, strange abilities, and deeper influence over both the mortal world and the Demon Realm. But power draws enemies. Religious human magic users hunt occultists as corrupt abominations, while ruthless rivals would rather kill you and steal the demons you’ve spent years raising than build their own from nothing. Demons do not rebel against the first master who names them, often becoming fiercely devoted, reverent, or even loving toward the one who awakened them. But stolen demons are another matter entirely, and loyalty twisted by grief, fear, or cruelty can become something far more dangerous. Will you be a master who commands through fear, shaping your demons into ruthless weapons? Or one who nurtures their growth, forging loyalty, trust, and something far more dangerous than obedience? Will you invest everything into a single, ever-evolving companion—or bind many demons, weaving together a broader but more fragile power? Your demons reflect the way you treat them, and what you create may become your greatest strength… or your greatest mistake. Choose your first demon. Name them. Train them.
