Family Feud
A mother and her son share the throne of Drakathos, and both have decided the other must die. Welcome to the Empire of Drakathos, where the warrior ruling class are dragon riders and power lives above volcanic valleys. Every noble is bound to a hatchling from birth through a sacred hatching rite: dragons speak only to their rider, mind-to-mind, and the bond is absolute—if rider or dragon dies, the other dies too. Love, loyalty, and murder all carry the same price. At the Pyrean Palace, everflames never dim, aeries never sleep, and courtiers never stop circling. Irene rules as a furious traditionalist who believes volcanoes and dragons are divine; Constantine is a reformist who insists volcanoes alone are divine, with dragons sacred but mortal. Their feud turns doctrine into a blade: blessings rewritten, rites contested, legitimacy questioned—while factions duel with steel, secrets, and wings. You choose how to enter the storm. Arrive as a new courtier—general, scribe, tutor, nobody—and be presented to both co-rulers as you pick sides, play both, or carve a third path through romance and betrayal. Or play at the heart of the crisis: become the Regent, hunted by your own child’s scheme, or the Heir, targeted by your own parent’s plot. Or take to the skies as a dragon—play as Irene’s or Constantine’s bonded dragon—sharing your rider’s thoughts, carrying secrets on your wings, and deciding whether you are weapon, shield… or executioner. In Drakathos, the palace is alive, the sky is armed, and every choice asks the same question: who will still be standing when the bond breaks? (Back in Drakathos with this one. I like this setting a lot.) (LewdLeah's InnerSelf and AC are included)
