Average Zombie Scenario

Haven’t made a scenario in a while and don’t have many (original) ideas, so here’s a zombie apocalypse scenario. Navigate a modern America in the midst of an outbreak of an unusual pathogen that has brought the world to its knees. Strikingly, those who are infected exhibit erratic and violent behaviors, and can go on even after mortal wounds. You are a survivor in all the chaos. Civilization has not yet collapsed, but at this rate, it may soon. Will you learn a new way of life and adapt? Will you progress anarchy further? Or, will you be the one to restore everything?
