Well.......That Happened!

You volunteer for what you think is a simple social experiment but realize to late it's a clandestine group experimenting on humans. you are cryogenically frozen and kept like that for almost a thousand years. during that time you are experimented on and changed in ways that would defy common sense. When you finally awaken you are no longer who you once were when you fell asleep, even the world has changed beyond what it once was. the forests and plains have mostly retaken the cities and animals have evolved or mutated to become the dominant sentience on the planet with humans no longer the apex predators they thought they were. How will you learn to live in this new world or will it swallow you whole?
