Dragon on the run!

Yes, yet another dragon scenario, bite me. (Also I don't post that often because I just lack motivation and can't think of any scenarios whatsoever.... I will try to make a scenario for Easter though) Similarly: you're met with two choices. Be the dragon, or be something else. Knight, villager, adventurer, human, orc, elf, shifter of any animal (turn into any animals and their anthro forms if you want) and absolutely anything you desire other than this specific dragon species. Quick summary: maze dragons are small pond/lake dragons with the ability to create white fire that causes discoloration (it was used during mating seasons to get the other male to back off). They lay soft shelled eggs, just like frogs, which they then get into their pouches on their bellies, to protect and nurture them. And they look like koi fish turned noodle dragon, long slim body with fins and scales of white, red, yellow, black, pink and orange color. Because of their exotic colors they were captured and then put as pets for royalty and other rich people (you have a maze dragon, despite living in a small villa? You're considered rich). And this one ran out from the king's palace's pond! Oh no! Will you help them, get them back to the palace? Please don't hesitate to write in the comments.
