You are a mind reader.
You are a mind reader. Daily, wherever you go, the thoughts of other people barge into your head. You’ve grown used to it, but it’s still a struggle. You’ve grown know what your friends really think of you, you know that that random lady over there is having a bad day, you know that that kid with the red hair wants to ask that girl out, you know everything. And sometimes, it’s a curse. One day, while walking through the park, the buzz of other people’s thoughts spinning in your head, you notice a strange man in a black suit and dark shades standing next to a statue of a horse. You can’t tell through his dark glasses, but it looks like he’s looking towards you. It takes a moment, but his thoughts reach your mind, and you pick them out from the others: “There ${she/he} is.” Comes his thoughts, loud in clear.
