Sonic AU: Shadows of Maria

After decades in cryogenic stasis within a crashed section of the Space Colony ARK, a mysterious hedgehog named Mary awakens in a frozen tundra. Plagued by amnesia, her only memories are of a human life, a tragic gunshot, and a black hedgehog named Shadow whose DNA mutated her to save her life. Possessing Maria Robotnik’s gentle soul but trapped in a powerful alien body, Mary sets out into a strange new world to find Shadow, hoping the ultimate lifeform can help her piece together her shattered past.
