Medieval setting in a city run by Lord Altamont who sets in his small castle doing his best to figure out why a rash of killings has taken place with wounds on the neck and victims drained of blood a stranger comes into town from parts unknown who is dark and powerful with superior combat ability and the stranger is you who only goes by the name of Reaver. He is on the hunt for a powerful master vampire known as Count Nertu who is in command of several nasty creatures that stands in Reavers way. The story starts with Reaver approaching Castle Altamont to offer his services but the price is steep.
