The Allies made blunders that cost them the war, and thus the Central Powers (Germany, Austria-Hungary, Bulgaria, and the Ottoman) had won. Austria-Hungary still split apart after the war due to government and military weakness after the war. The Ottoman, German Empire, and Bulgaria stayed. France became communist, Great Britain lost most of their empire, the Soviet Union lost a lot of land due to many states' independence, and Ireland getting independence. The Central Powers got tons of land, while the allies (France, UK, Romania, Russian Empire, Italy, Portugal, Greece, Serbia, Montenegro, Belgium, Japan, etc) lost a lot of land, gained low morale and protests, and gained a lot of government and military weakness, stability decreasing.
