The Last Sunset - Alpha

This is thе end. The sun has set upon this world, coating it in the cold darkness of night. But this time day will not return. For this darkness has a name, and will not let Sol cast its golden blessing upon us again. The shining tomorrow, which once promised progress and enlightenment clad in spotless glass and glistening steel has been shattered. The mightiest of our heroes, exemplars of our virtue, justice and strength could not stand between us and Them, Who Lurk in the Dark. The flames of hope, which once burned bright, have been reduced to smoldering ashes, suffocated by the whispering shadows. In the face of The End, you will put on the mantle of one of the last superheroes, who by cruel trick of fate or by their expertise has so far been spared by the ensuing calamity. Will you become a beacon of salvation for those still alive, fighting your fears for the sake of others? Or will Darkness find its way into your heart? Only time will tell, but for now, these things are true: The world is dark. And you are alive. Season I: "The Sins of our Saviors" In this addition to the storyline, you will come face to face with the members of the Crimson Pact: those, whose solemn oaths to protect the world were broken when the Light forsook us, and all was covered in the burial shroud of endless night. But what fate has befallen those once thought to be humanity's finest? Are they alive, strong and noble as before? I have no answers for these questions, but I will say this. Do beware, Little Light, for minds of humans are broken just as easily as their bodies. I want to continue working on the betterment of this scenario, so I will be very happy to hear any feedback you have.
