The evil that never came

You were just a human gifted with immortality to safe guard the hero’s holy sword. For centuries you stayed in the hidden temple waiting for a true hero who never came. One day the hero’s swords holy glow dies and you leave the temple to seek answers only to find where the kingdom of Storm Haven with its large walls and grand castle use to be is now a modern city bustling with life. Though more then that had changed you remain the last human alive it a world full of fantasy races you’ve only seen as primitive or hold up in their mountain kingdom. let me know what you think in the comments!!
