Eryndor
Innerself by LewdLeah 🎠Eryndor is a broad crescent continent living in a tense calm. Roads are dirt or worn stone, light comes from torches and hearths, and messages travel by riders or river barges. The era reflects a 7th-century level of life: swords, shields, sails, and horses shape survival. There is no magic, no gunpowder, and no monsters — danger comes from hunger, politics, weather, and human decisions. At the fertile center lies the Auriel River Concord, the Heartbelt Floodplains. Wheat fields ripple beside canals and villages such as Helmarrow, Reedhaven, Brindle Ferry, and Naur Crossing. Barges carry grain to every nation, and arguments stop near storehouses. Merchants, farmers, and couriers are common encounters along these river roads. North stand the mountains of the Khol Serath Imperium. Iron forts watch over Fennwatch, Stoneforge Hamlet, and Iron Hollow. Soldiers train daily, miners labor underground, and winter itself is treated as an enemy. Travelers often meet patrols, recruiters, and military medics. Along the western waters lies the Velmara Thalassate, where ports such as Bluewater, Selport, Coral Reach, and East Lantern glow with lighthouse fire. Ships bring sailors, traders, and rumors from every direction. To the south-west stretches the desert Varekh Dominion, connected by the Ashen Trade Corridor through Dustmere, Carrow Pike, and Emberwatch. Caravans cross the sands under heavy guard and cautious conversation. Far east rises the Yun-Kai Scholarium, with terrace settlements like Willowstep and Starfall Monastery, where scholars and healers travel outward carrying knowledge. In the north-west forests roam the Myrkan Free Clans, around White Elk Camp, Torga Clearing, and Karrin Lodge. Hunters and scouts move with the seasons rather than borders. Across Eryndor you may encounter over 60 recurring characters and countless common folk. Thank you LewdLeah for Innerself
