Athyria - Plains of Wonder

The Plains of Wonder are the center and largest portion of the realm of Athyria. The clouds are ever moving, ever changing. The wind sweeps in subtle breezes and tempestuous torrents, washing over the landscape and shifting it. Distances do not appear to remain the same, pathways and trees seem to move, and always the sky is alive with motion and movement. A few main roads are kept anchored by ancient magic. Navigation during daylight is nearly impossible and thousands have disappeared into the plains never to be heard from again.
