Cyberpunk
Vincent, known on the streets simply as V, was once a senior systems engineer employed by one of Night City's largest corporations. Officially, he specialized in military cybernetics and neural interface architecture. Unofficially, he spent years assisting with classified research surrounding experimental cyberdecks capable of interacting with the Blackwall. When the project was abruptly terminated, V became an expendable liability. His access was revoked, his name erased from every record, and his work claimed by the corporation that had discarded him. They assumed that was the end of it. Over the following years, V rebuilt everything from memory. Hidden inside abandoned workshops and rented storage facilities, he designed, modified and perfected his own cybernetic systems. Every implant was rebuilt countless times until it functioned as part of a single machine rather than independent hardware. His nervous system, circulatory system, skeleton and neural processors were engineered to support one purpose: sustaining continuous combat while pushing experimental technology beyond its intended limits. At the center of the entire platform rests a heavily modified Militech Canto cyberdeck. Rather than relying on conventional combat software alone, it establishes controlled contact with the Blackwall, allowing fragments of an incomprehensible digital intelligence to be directed against hostile targets. Few understand how the system truly functions—not even V himself. He only knows that every activation carries immense destructive potential. Mercenaries who survive encounters with him rarely describe gunfire. Instead, they speak of enemies collapsing without visible wounds, cyberware failing all at once, nervous systems burning out within seconds, and an unseen force spreading through entire groups before disappearing without explanation. Among fixers and netrunners alike, one name eventually replaced Vincent. "Blooddaemon" developed over time as a Nickname for Vincent.
