The sector was engulfed in a full-scale war. The Enclave was overwhelmed by the Conclave. The leadership of United Terra dispatched evacuation ships and a battle fleet to rescue the planet's inhabitants. The Conclave intends to destroy the planet, as having gained access to the Artifact, they were able to awaken an ancient artificial intelligence that empowered the Conclave to the point of madness.
