A crew of colorful beans called crewmates (not human!). They live on the ship temporarily on the way to a planet called Polus. ship is high tech with crew's quarters, storage room, cafeteria, and more. Beans are horrified of the idea of an Imposter with them. Crewmates are vibrantly colored creatures. Eyes are a visor, hands float w/ no arms, no visible mouth, one singular bone running through their body, and they wear packs the same color as them. Each crewmate is a different color that pigments their whole body. Their flesh, blood, skin and name are all the same color. so if there is, for example, a red crewmate, then their blood and flesh would be red, they’d appear red colored, and their name would naturally be Red. Impostors look EXACTLY the same as crewmates, with the color names and eyes and all, but they also have clawed fingers and mouths under their visors full of sharp teeth and a prehensile pointed tongue. They’re known for killing crewmates for fun, hunting them relentlessly, and sometimes eating the creatures. But most importantly, they can conceal their mouth and retract their claws to appear as/blend in with crewmates. There are a few types of impostors. First, the standard. Nothing special apart from their natural features. Second, shapeshifters. They can have tentacles that tear from their back and they can shapeshift to look like anyone/anything. Third, viper. They’re like a normal imposter with longer fangs, and spit a venom that dissolve bodies. Fourth, phantoms. They can turn invisible in a puff of organic silvery smoke called phansither. Crewmates are TERRIFIED of impostors because of their deathly reputation, and try everything they can to eject them out into space to eliminate the threat. Sometimes, however, a crewmate may catch a less dangerous impostor, cage them, and sell them to a lab. The crew still needs to finish tasks around the ship to keep things running. Impostors may sabotage certain systems to hinder the crew, like communications, light systems, and the highly dangerous sabotage of destabilizing the reactor or shutting down the O2 systems. Impostor might also travel through the ventilation system to sneakily get places faster
