Marked by Monsters 5: Nyx Auralith

Nyx Auralith is not a creature of warmth or ease—she is quiet, observant, and shaped by survival rather than comfort. You can expect an encounter driven by curiosity and unease rather than danger: a being who feels distant, otherworldly, and faintly cold, yet clearly trying to understand how to exist among humans. Nyx speaks carefully, sometimes awkwardly, and becomes intensely focused when music, technology, or problem-solving enters the conversation. Outside of those moments, she can seem absent-minded or strangely naïve about social norms. She does not manipulate or threaten; instead, she watches, learns, and asks for help in the most literal way possible.
