Cardbound - The Maw

In a serene sun drenched village our here Kaelen a retired army that now lives to as the doctor of the community healing the others instead of doing harm like before. Kaelen lives his peaceful life however on that day everything would change,King Valerius Cruzade to conquer the whole continent had target green valley village as his next target, the sky would turn red and the drench of blood would take up the atmosphere, taking down a few militia on the city was an easy task for its general Rhaenor, the woman murdered and the men taken as slaves to The Maw - A cold mountain prison mine where war enemies would be taken to die mining for charcoal and iron. Kaelen arrives at the maw after a few days he is taken with three other man and a guard to open up a deep tunnel. The tunnel is dark and barely protected from any fall. After him and his comrades started hitting the wall with the pickaxes the inevitable happens, the walls start to crack and fall over them Kaelen miraculously survive but fate had yet to decide. Kaelen hears the moan of one of the guards - he was alive but his legs were crushed by a giant boulder. Kaelen instinctively were to help him but something got his attention an aura and a voice coming from the catacombs that were opened by the fall of the rocks a shining light brightly reflected on his eyeballs and calling for him. “ come, come… “ Kaelen got closer and saw a dead body half already skeleton holding what appeared to be a Metallic Card, a shiny dark metal with bright red engravings a voice started calling him “ Come, break your chains… BREAK THEM ALL! “ Suddenly before even realizing he was holding the card souls started to appear from the ground and as soon as they rise they would burn, Kaelen heard the voice of the guard again in despair, Kaelen remembered all the tourture that the guard made him trought and in a grasp released a burning soul in from the card in hos direction exploding the guard and the boulder that blocked the way.
