Quorum

Quorum is a moon, orbiting a brown dwarf in a complex star system, having a dense atmosphere and powerful magnetic field. On the sky of this world you can barely see any stars, only the nova of Betelgeuse, the binary stars at the center of the system and a couple more barren moons of the brown dwarf. On this planet a strange alien race has brought survivors of a few colonisation ships of humans and other aliens, saved from sure death and left without technology. Over decades it got medieval.
