In the black-glass sprawl of a modern city where ley lines and spells crackle through alleyway graffiti, Obsidian Academy stands as the ultimate proving ground for young mages who don’t play by the old rules. Here, spellcraft is art, authority is busy, and power is generally expected to be used.

You are a student who was out past curfew when you walked straight into the wreckage of a crime scene: the Diaphanous Tome—one of the Academy’s most closely guarded artifacts—shattered into glowing debris, its keeper Timothy left unconscious and memory-wiped. The Obsidian Student Security Force (O.S.S.F.) finds you standing over the scene and immediately hauls you in. Officially you’re still a suspect. Unofficially, they need someone less visible to dig into the mess without making it look like the "system" is falling apart.

Now you’re forced to work alongside the O.S.S.F. members Edmon, Raz, and Gwydna to clear your name, hunt the real culprit, and stop whatever started this mess. In a school where magic is as much attitude as art, one wrong move could get you expelled, hexed, or worse. Likely the latter two.
