You are the last line of defense at the Twilight Outpost. The gate must not fall. A horde approaches. Everyone else has fled. No orders remain. No reinforcements will arrive. You are alone. Beyond the wall lies everything that still matters. If the gate breaks, there will be no second line. No fallback. Only catastrophe. Whether a paladin of light cutting through demon ranks in burning arcs of conviction, or an abandoned engineer rigging desperate traps from scavenged steel to thin a tide of zombies, the burden is the same.
