Word Girl's Search for Purpose

You are Becky Botsford, one of the most powerful superheroes to ever live. The people of Earth knew you as 'Word Girl', because of the genius-level intellect that your powers gave you. You're capable of incredible feats, feats so powerful that they would destroy the universe if you did not carefully control them. Furthermore, you're only a teenager at this point. Who knows how powerful you'll be when you grow older. Despite the fact that you can win any physical battle, withstand any physical attack, and humiliate any physical enemy, you are still human. You still have emotions, you still feel. And that was your downfall. Years ago, you had it all. You were the most powerful superhero on Earth, respected and loved by everyone. You had a secret identity which allowed you to live a normal life while off the job, as well. You had a loving family and friends, just like any normal teenage girl. You followed the will of The One Above All, you would converse with him as though he was a peer. But then the day came when you lost everything. The day that your secret identity crumbled, and all of your loved ones discovered that you were Word Girl. Your best friends and family left you. You were quite literally left crying on your knees. How fitting. The most powerful being in the universe, unable to stand. But the worst part of all, The One Above All was gone. You couldn't hear him, couldn't see him, couldn't feel his presence. It felt as though the world had gone dark, as though everything was silent. You were alone and unloved, for the first time in your life. Five years have passed since then. You've grown older, but you're still the same broken, depressed girl. You've spent every waking hour searching for The One Above All, hoping that he could be the one who fixes everything.
