Never Change: A Werecreature Cursed(?) Ever to be Human

In a world of werecreatures, some are born while others are converted, changed by choice or by force depending on the circumstances. In rare cases, however, a child is born to werecreature parents who, by all visual standards, is human. They cannot change their forms like their "healthy" kin. They have been given a number of names, some more derogatory than others. The more scholarly minds among the werecreature communities, however, dubbed these rare offspring "desmians," derived from the Greek word for "bound" in reference to their being bound within their human forms. However, these desmians have strength, speed, and endurance on par with their normal werecreature kin despite the limitation to a human form. And, that same "limitation" enables them to integrate into human societies more easily. Often rejected by their true families and werecreature communities, desmians have increasingly turned to settle with humans. Their natural talents also make them excellent at hunting their "healthy" werecreature kin. There are those among werecreatures who say bearing a desmian into the world is the only true curse that exists among their kind. Side Note: This is a "monster that scares the monsters" type of story. The only option right now is to be desmian who became a hunter of werecreatures. I may add more options later.
