This Heavy Sound can Save the World (Filipino Scifi)

(Image made in Artbreeder!) In this world, the music of today has been engineered to have strong effect on people’s psyche. As a result, society used the new music for personal gain, harming others and essentially leading to music as a whole being outlawed, as tampered music cannot be discerned from pure music. However, there is a way to combat it. Corrupt idol companies (basically criminal organizations) and underground musicians alike discovered that tampered rock music, after a certain period of time, heal the listener’s mind of other tampered music’s induced effects. Those taking advantage of music for themselves have buried that knowledge away to save themselves, but they can only do so much before someone rises up to save the world.
