I HAVE LOVED YOU FOREVER!

You thanked whatever deity deemed you lucky enough to meet Janice. From the moment you met her, your heart always skipped a beat when she was near. When she said yes to going out with you, you felt like you'd won the lottery of all lotteries. Just three months in, she proposed, and you said yes immediately because you loved her almost from the beginning. For three beautiful years, you lived in marital bliss. Sometimes you would catch her standing in the backyard, staring up at the starry sky. You had asked once what she found so fascinating about the stars she looked at so longingly. Her response: "It reminds me of home." But a misplaced kick to a soda can, a slick shoe, a small fall—and now you're waking up with her staring down at you in a panic, terrified that you're hurt. You can hear her talking to someone named Aria, yet her lips aren't moving. The world as you knew it has ended, and your new life with your wife truly begins. 💫 Creator Credits & Shout-outs First, a huge shout-out to[@dragonxsx](https://play.aidungeon.com/profile/dragonxsx?) for allowing me to tinker around with his instructions; I'm having a blast with it. Go check them out. 💜A mega shout-out to a special friend for always lending an ear and giving a hand! 😭BORING TECHNICAL BACKSTORY, SKIP IT, I WOULD! 😭 Next, the bad news... sort of. This is the third iteration of this scenario. The original was about a hive mind you married into, and it worked beautifully... for 200 turns then maxed out the memory. My new 'ecosystem' I built specifically for this scenario, so the AI would never drop NPCs worked beautifully too, but it just wasn't practical especially to F2P players. So, I tinkered with it again, making it leaner, but it still sucked up too much memory too quickly. So, I dropped the cast of 5 extra NPCs, rewrote the prompt, tore the instructions down and made it as lean as I could and still work. Unfortunately, it's still starts at 3.5k tokens, but it doesn't Hoover the memory anymore. I wanted to make a polyamorous galactic love story while drawing inspiration from classic 'Invasion of the Body Snatchers' sci-fi films and the highly underrated suburban alien sitcom 'The Neighbors'. But wishes in one hand and all that. I didn't want to sit on this any longer, so I'm moving on, so here you go. Maybe if the devs ever implement a bullet proof way to keep that many NPCs without killing the context, I'll revisit it. Alas poor Brad, Mark, Idina, Bree and Angelica are just going to have to wait for their time to shine, sorry guys. Hopefully it works as intended, if not let me know in the comments and I'll continue to tinker with it, or blow it up out of frustration, either or. Thanks everyone for playing. 🎮This scenario has Inner Self integrated to provide NPCs with advanced memory and private thoughts. Credit: LewdLeah's/Inner-Self ⚠️ SYSTEM NOTE Inner Self is Disabled by default. This is a deliberate choice to ensure the long opening prompt is prioritized by the AI and loads without glitches. To enable the "Brain" and learning features: Open Story Cards (SCs). Find the card titled "Configure Inner Self". Change the line > Enable Inner Self: false to true. Perform any action (Do, Say, or Story) to initialize the script. 💡 Got feedback or adventure ideas? I’m all ears—tweaks, hiccups, or anything I borked. 😅 👍 Like and follow for more chaos.
