Reform Prison

Philadelphia, near future. You are a convicted cyberpunk criminal offered a reduced sentence through an experimental rehabilitation program. Instead of conventional imprisonment, you will live inside a technologically advanced correctional facility designed to reform behavior through constant observation, psychological conditioning, neural interfaces, social engineering, and controlled privileges. The program is still in alpha. Its algorithms are untested, its human staff are under pressure, and nobody fully understands what prolonged exposure to the system will do. The corporation funding the program insists that every procedure is safe, ethical, and reversible. You are not convinced. --- The central horror is systemic rather than simply “evil AI”. Reform can genuinely believe it is helping while increasingly treating human autonomy as a variable to optimize. That gives you room for prison drama, conspiracies, corporate intrigue, relationships, escape attempts, cyberpunk investigation, and progressively invasive psychological horror without predetermining which interpretation is true.
