🌱[LC] The Last Safe Block: Zombie Survival

NORTHBRIDGE IS DEAD. Four days into a classic zombie outbreak, you are trapped inside Marlow Court, a fortified apartment block with a ground-floor supermarket and five survivors who cannot agree on what comes next. Keep the lights on. Find food, fuel, and medicine. Search abandoned homes. Rescue strangers or leave them behind. Fortify the building, follow an uncertain evacuation broadcast, repair a city bus, or abandon Northbridge entirely. The dead are slow, but they never become tired. Humans and anthros once shared ordinary lives throughout the city. They worked together, argued, fell in love, paid rent, caught crowded trams, complained about their jobs, and assumed tomorrow would resemble today. Now both face the same hunger, fear, grief, and impossible decisions. Marlow Court’s surviving residents use Living Characters to pursue their own plans: Mara Keller, a wolf anthro paramedic trying to preserve lives without destroying herself. Jonas Varga, the building caretaker who believes strong walls are worth more than uncertain promises of rescue. Nia Okafor, a rabbit anthro courier determined to reach the university where her younger brother was last seen. Leonie Park, a snow leopard anthro supermarket manager building a ration system before desperation destroys the group. Sofia Renner, a night-bus driver convinced that a repairable vehicle at the Eastbank depot could get everyone out. They may cooperate, disagree, hide information, form loyalties, take risks, change their minds, or pursue separate goals without waiting for you. The Last Safe Block is an open-world zombie survival scenario set in an alternate 2026 branch of the shared human-anthro universe of Offline Together, Hawthorn Hall, and West of Freedom. The outbreak has not reduced people to classes, professions, or species stereotypes. Survivors still have humor, habits, principles, flaws, relationships, private fears, and reasons to keep living beyond mere survival. The city is large. Help is uncertain. The hardest part is deciding what remains worth saving.
