In Crossing Hearts: The Last Check-In, the first entry in a new romance-travel anthology branch, your story begins at check-in — with a room key, a missing person, and a resort full of strangers who might not stay strangers for long. Maybe the activities host makes you laugh before you are ready to. A grounded modern romance-travel scenario about solo trips, unfinished history, hotel rooms, beach bars, temporary intimacy, slow burn, choice, chemistry, and what happens when a vacation connection starts to feel less temporary.
